Visitor management with face verification for jails and correctional facilities
Each visitor is enrolled once, with their photo and the persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) they visit. After that, a visit is a face scan at the entry station and another at the exit. Bans are enforced at the door, and every visit keeps a photo on record.

How it works
How a visit works
Friction once, at enrollment. Every visit after that is a scan in and a scan out.

Checkpoint, unchanged
Inspection, ID surrender, and the hand stamp stay manual. The checkpoint guard can look up any PDL on a phone and see how many visitors are with them now.

Enroll once
On the first visit, an admin records the visitor's name, birth date, and address, links the PDLs they visit with the relationship to each, and captures their face.

Scan in
At the entry station the visitor looks at the camera. The guard sees the enrollment photo and linked PDLs, ticks who today's visit is for, and admits them.

Scan out
The exit station needs no guard input. A visitor who is inside is checked out. Anyone else is held and logged as an incident.

Bans
An admin bans a visitor for a set number of days or for life, with a reason. The entry station refuses them without showing the reason, and the attempt is logged. Guards cannot override a ban.
One visit a day
A visitor who already finished a visit today is refused. A guard can override with a written reason, which is saved on the visit.
The wrong face at the exit
Exit scans are matched against visitors inside and against enrolled PDLs. If a PDL faces the exit camera, the station alarms and files an incident with the photo.
Visitor counts per PDL
The checkpoint guard sees each PDL's visitor limit next to the number inside now, and decides from there.
Records
Evidence and reports for every visit
A photo on every visit
Each admission saves a fresh photo taken at the entry station, kept for a year. Visitors and PDLs are deactivated, never deleted, so history stays whole.
A live dashboard
Who is inside now, visitors today, and incidents today, broken down per PDL.
Exports for any date range
A CSV with one row per visit, every PDL it covered, times in and out, and ban attempts and exit incidents flagged.
