A phone or tablet at the school gate records each student who walks up, with no tap and no ID card. Parents get a notification when their child arrives, and advisers get School Form 2 at the end of the month.

At the gate
What parents and staff see at the gate
Runs on an ordinary phone or tablet on a stand. Recognition happens on our servers, so an older device is fine.
No tap at the gate
The camera stays on. A student walks up, looks, and keeps walking. The screen confirms in under a second and the name follows.
A push to parents on arrival
The school shares each student's status link with the family. Parents turn on notifications and get a push at every time in and time out. Free for every family.
A heads-up when a child is missing
If a student has not timed in shortly after class starts, the family gets one notification. If nobody in the class came, no alert goes out.
Photos and screens are checked
Every scan is checked for a printed photo or a phone screen held up to the camera, not just for a matching face.

Notifications are free. Parents who want more can unlock their child's page for ₱99 per school year, paid by the family, not the school.

Reports
Attendance forms your advisers already use
At the end of each month, download one Excel workbook with a DepEd School Form 2 sheet for every section, filled in from the gate scans.
- Absent, tardy, and cutting class marks, judged against each section's schedule
- A scan log sheet with every entry behind the marks
- LRN and sex are left for the adviser, because Heimdal does not collect them
- Advisers and teachers can download it themselves
Privacy
Consent and student data
Face data is sensitive personal information under the Data Privacy Act, and a minor's own consent does not count.
Parents decide
A student's face data needs a parent's or guardian's consent. A teacher cannot give it for them. The school sends a consent link, and each answer is saved with the exact wording shown and the time.
A refusal deletes the face data
If a parent says no, the student's face template and photo are deleted right away and the camera stops recognizing them.
One photo, taken at enrollment
Gate scans are matched on our servers and discarded, unless the parent paid for gate photos. A scan nobody matched is kept for 3 days so staff can sort it out.
Paperwork included
A printable parent notice, a consent roster per section, and a data processing agreement between the school and Bearlog come with the account.

A teacher goes down the list with a phone and captures each student in the browser.

Share it in the class group chat, or print the section sheet for the parents who have not answered.

Give teachers their own sign-in
Teachers see attendance and reports. They cannot touch billing or the gate link, or delete students or sections.

₱80 per student per school year, quoted as one yearly amount by enrollment. Pay for the year or per semester.

Monthly figures are the yearly amount spread over the 10-month school year. The price covers the gate, parent notifications, School Form 2, and teacher sign-ins.
